The cover of each sleeve is handpainted with silk color, showing a unique variation of the official artwork. The sleeve is made of printed 300g cardboard covered with fine white organic silk, has a visible seam and is closed with an organic cord. It contains the CD + four cardboard cards featuring an individual artwork for each of the three months (by Rita Rozenberga) and a photograph of Maris and Juris.

12 Months Suites by Peter Levics could most accurately be described as musical diary, in which two brother musicians assemble their inspiration and emotion throughout the year.
They give us a glimpse into how they experience life and let us have a look at their recorded memory - first part of the cycle is autumn, with its bright colours, fresh air and states of mind ranging from lively to calm.
Each piece, be it fully completed or a vivid idea just about to grow, is named by its creation date. Being a diary the collection of songs is quite intimate, yet this one doesn't give away too many secrets.
Even though it is full of deep feelings, it also leaves ample space for each listener's interpretation and imagination.

This is a beautiful melancholic well-done stylization of the mediaeval music with the additional neoclassical piano and ambient electronics. Frame drum played by the guest musician Wil Procter adds some epical notes. It is amazing that the composer and multi-instrumentalist Adrian Lane, who uses unusual attention-getting age-old instruments in this recording, is an artist by his profession and this marvelous cover of the album is his painting. Very talented work. ))
